How Does Predictive Technology Work?
Circadia installs a remote monitoring device within a detectable range of each patient, usually close to the patient’s bed.
Through radar technology, the device can detect vital signs and biosignals for patients, including:
- Respiratory rate
- Heart rate
- Bed exits
- Patient motion
Circadia is able to monitor these items without being directly connected to the patient, ensuring more comfort and ease.
The Circadia system is able to run provided information through its algorithm to determine possible risk factors and alert care teams to changes that require interventions.
